"A dream doesn't become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work."
How many other sales trainers have a physics degree? I'm guessing they're few and far between. Does this offer me any particular advantage? No. Does it tell you anything about me? Not really. So why mention it? That's a fair point – well made.
I love rugby, whisky and a good amount of Scottish music. But is that relevant? I'm guessing you don't think so.
Try this: one of my core values is care. And in learning any new skill set or when undertaking significant change or transformation – my view is that care is vital. For the journey is never straight forward...sadly.
If you were to ask me about my favourite moments when working with clients - I'd tell you it was those moments where they "think they've failed and feel down". Often when they're at a very low ebb. Now, at first I'm sure that sounds like an odd statement. The reason I love those moments is it typically means a cognitive leap is about to happen. Not my leap – their leap. And ultimately, that's why I do what I do.
For me, my job is to make those moments happen faster. To get you through them quickly. And then move you back to taking action. Because action is where the next leap of learning will come from.
I wish I could tell you there's a quick fix to every business and sales issues. The "if you only knew this one thing" approach to business. That I have a magic formula, a magic script* (god forbid) or that I could wave a magic wand and your business would suddenly start growing uncontrollably. But given you're here – my guess is you're much smarter than that. In any case, it isn't true from my experience so I can't (and won't) tell you that.
That being said, While there's often no "quick" fix, impressive radical growth and change is possible...if you're willing to put in the right work.
So, if you're willing to give me all you've got – I'll bring all I've got. And together, we'll make sure that You. Get. There.
*When was the last time you were abe to script a human conversation front to back with precision? I'll save that rant for another day.
